Cancel an order
How to take back an unfilled order and return the locked amount to your wallet.
Find the order in Your active orders and press Cancel on its row. Cardiv builds the cancel and sends you to Calden to approve it, exactly as it does for a placement, and the order leaves the table once the cancel confirms.
To change an order's price or amount, cancel and place again.
An order that has partly filled can still be cancelled. The part that traded is settled and stays settled; the cancel returns what is left.
What happens to your funds
The cancel and the release happen together: the lock is released to your wallet in the same transaction as the cancel, so the amount is spendable the moment the cancel confirms. The 5 CC network fee leaves your wallet in that same transaction; Fees has the detail.
